MSN AdCenter Management
The MSN AdCenter program is third in click share behind Google and Yahoo. However, they are making constant improvements to their interface. They offer the ability to target specific local areas and locations. Recently they have added a content network which shows ads in MSN® Tech & Gadgets, Money, Real Estate, and Windows® Marketplace, as well as participating partner websites. On this new content network, local targeting is also available. This will help local advertisers generate more traffic from their MSN AdCenter ads.
The MSN interface is much less user friendly then their competitors at Google and Yahoo. This means that setting up your campaign correctly is crucial. They do have a version of the quality score, which they call ‘relevancy score’. Keeping a high relevancy score for your keywords is very important. We have been working closely with our personal representative at MSN, and this is helping our clients a great deal.
